Xi stressed that China has always supported and actively helped the peace process and development of Central African Republic, and hopes it will achieve new progress in its endeavour towards lasting peace and sustainable development.

Touadera said his country firmly abides by the one-China principle, supports China’s reunification, and appreciates China’s long-term help in promoting stability and economic development.

Central African Republic is ready to strengthen the exchange between political parties and governance, and to improve the practical cooperation under the framework of the Belt and Road Initiative, and eight major initiatives proposed by President Xi at the summit, said Touadera.
