We are glad to extend our invitation to you /your organization to participate in the all-important Africa Policy and Development Summit – Kigali 2018, with the theme “Balancing priority in a changing contextbilled for 27-28 September, 2018 at the Radisson Blu Hotel and Convention Centre-Kigali, Rwanda, where you will be expected to join other top policy experts in Africa to participate in the process of galvanizing ideas towards deepening and sustaining developments in the continent.

 The forum is designed to engage key policymakers and development stakeholders from within and outside the continent including: Heads of Government Agencies; Ministries, Agencies and Departments, Representatives of UN Agencies, Financial Institutions and Representatives, Elected Government Officials, Heads of Africa’s Defence and Security Organizations, Development Agencies, Private Sector Organizations, Multilateral Organizations, International NGOs/CBOs, Academics, Professionals, major Think-Tank on African Relations and full suite of the local and international media.

Africa Policy and Development Forum provides space for African leaders, international mediators and negotiatorsresearchers, policy makers, development practitioners and writers on African issues, to dialogue and debate on critical issues of development in the continent with a view to partnering for shared prosperity.

The Forum seeks to promote new, alternative and cutting edge thinking on the development challenges that Africa faces, and its outcomes will also be codified into policy notes, briefs and think pieces. It also provides space for the Center to introduce some of its research products as a contribution to the search for solutions.

The forum shall further climax into a glamorous showcase of Africa’s best in good governance, development promotions and outstanding leadership. The Center is desirous of documenting these legacies of the new champions of Africa for posterity.

Mandela Legacy Centre for Leadership and Development a non-governmental organization (NGO) founded in keeping with the ideals of the late world icon -Nelson Mandela and specifically to uphold outstanding leadership and promote enduring development in Africa is putting up this forum to provide a platform where development issues can be debated, and solutions discussed, with a view to transmitting such to decision makers at the national, regional and continental levels. It is one of the organisation’s contributions to the search for workable solutions to new and persistent problems of developmental transformation and effectiveness in Africa.

REGISTRATION FEE:   $1000 (One Thousand U S Dollars) only    

This fee will cover participation fee, refreshment (lunch and tea breaks for the duration of the summit) workshop/breakout meetings, conference materials, networking meetings, certificate of completion, VIP dinner and awards on the last day of the summit.

Please note that all delegates are expected to make an independent arrangement for accommodation; Airport – pick up and local transportation for this forum. We are however available to assist delegates, who may be unable to do so, within ample notice.
