!!!!!!!!!!!Breaking News!!!!!!!!!!!! Mandela Legacy Centre now Global Advocacy for African Affairs.

At the end of its annual enlarged strategy round-table session which held recently in Abuja the capital of the federal republic of Nigeria, after consolidating our recent global partnership in the United Kingdom and the United States respectively, the board and management of the Mandela Legacy Centre for Leadership and Development, a non-governmental organization founded pursuant to the need to uphold the legacies of the world icon Nelson Mandela while creating a robust platform for engagement and solution finding on issues of governance, leadership and development in Africa, have adopted the name “Global Advocacy for African Affairs” to replace our previous name “Mandela Legacy Centre for Leadership and Development” effective from January 25,2019.

This further became necessary following strong appeals to expand and extend our African advocacy for good governance, quality leadership and enduring development beyond the shores of the continent. While the name Mandela has a phenomenal connotation with Africa, our engagement has continued to enjoy strong supports and partnership from reputable organizations and individuals across Asia, America and Europe. In the same vein, our sustainable advocacy  for solution finding on issues of governance, leadership and enduring development in Africa amidst working to uphold the Legacies of Africa’s heroes past, whose lives among other things have demonstrated deep craving for humanity has debunked all bounds and imaginable limitations. Among these litany of heroes who’s legacies still reverberates around the world are; Martin Luther King, Nelson Rolihlahla Mandela, Kwameh Nkrumah, Frederick Douglas, Harriet Tubman and a host of others.

Global Advocacy for African Affairs Initiative is driven with a philosophy that is fuelled by an undying global commitment and passion to lead the vanguard for a sure recovery and restoration of a new Africa.
